I thought I'd start a game thread for Lions fans who are also Lakers fans.

Boo-hiss!!! For shame bringing up the NBA in a College Hoops forum j/k Go LA! But the this crew of vets on the Celtics are hard to hate.

Beat L.A. It's going 7 folks, and the Celts are winning it on the back of the TRUTH, straight out of Inglewood Morningside.

Lakers win game 2 and lose one of the three at home before the BEST closer in the game puts the series away in Boston in game 6.
Lakers in 6

All I'm saying is that Pierce better avoid contact at all costs, because he may ask for a stretcher next time.

Clip Ship sets sail in '09.
Livingston, Maggette, and a #1 for an Arenas sign/trade.

Well I guess the series is over then Correct. I've been laying low all week cuz if I'm getting too old to take on more than one person in a bar fight. I don't want to knock the fans of the city I choose to live in, but y'all is a bit tunnel visioned. This is not an insult but merely an observation based on better weather, prettier ladies, and less self loathing. Not one cat who I heard call local radio gave the Celts a shot at winning more than one game. Sorry, but that's just ignorance or arrogance and awesome for me because I got 6 to 1 odds on the series. Hope it again becomes an ongoing rivalry like when I was a kid. That was the best and doesn't involve me praying for people to go to a special Yankee fan hell. I love L.A., but was raised to want to Beat L.A. but for the last twenty years we couldn't even dream about that. I apologize for this long rambling post, but my buddies were buying me drinks if I specifically did not talk about the Celts and I am 14 sheets to the wind. No hard feelings, when Bynum comes back the Lakers will be sick. P.S. IronShreadda, didn't know you were a Clip fan? I though you only dug LMU and BC Hoops. Sadly the clip show is a mess again. they need to let Maggete go, resign brand, realize that there's a 85% chance that Livingston is shot, and draft Mayo. I know people loath that kid. but he's going to be a all-star pro. I'd gladly put money down that he becomes a clearly better player than Bayless.

Clutch win. Only 2 more wins and its ours. Easy to do. Imagine how good the lakers will be next year with Bynum back. Amazing
