One thing we could do is have the stands packed long before the starting line-ups are announced. That has a very positive effect on our team and, if there is enough noise, the opposite effect for the visitors. It also shows well for TV and potential recruits.
When Gersten gets packed and when seats are harder to get, that problem will take care of itself. In the meantime, we'll have to give up that last brew and get our butts in earlier.

When we get some more wins this won't be a problem. The fashionably late LA crowd will not be able to squeeze through the lobby. I'm all for trying to get the kids to get in the stands sooner though. Last year was embarrassing for us but it is hard to spread blame considering.

Ahh the whole "get people to show up on time" quandry. I think any or all of the old-school ROAR people on this board will remember how hard it was just to get ROAR members out of the party and to the game on time. While that was eventually figured out -- it's still hard to get the largely apathetic student body to show up on time. Tough question. But I agree with Tex on this one: no sense in nit picking things like the national anthem and things of that nature when you can hardly get people in the door to start with. And yes, winning is the best way to fix that.
