Well, I'm afraid to ask, but do we know the results of Hamilton's PET scan?

The LMU web site said 4-6 weeks. However, didn't they say something during the AZ broadcast that was more promising?

I was asking the question because waterboy posted the following on Wednesday:
"They brought Hamilton on the trip hoping that he would get a medical clearance to play. That did not come. In fact he is getting a PET scan today for a possible spinal stress fracture. If it is positive then he will be out the season too."
Thus, I thought we might have an answer on Thursday.

The Athletics Department is still officially saying that he is "doubtful" for the Wyoming game.

he had another scan the other day.
he finds out the results of the scan on Tuesday.
Depending on the results, he may be out for the year. We'll find out early this week.
Good news- Vernon is gonna be back in a couple of weeks.

It's a stress fracture in the back. If the scan results show that it's an old injury, he'll be cleared to play. If it is new, he will be out for an extended period.
