Ready to represent your prognostication skills? For those of you that have never heard of our little enterprise, here’s the scoop: You start with $1000 FAKE dollars. I post the spreads. You make your picks. A champion is crowned at the end of the WCC season. The reward? The adulation and respect from your fellow WCC Pickers. Last year’s champ? Longtime player, first-time winner, “godons.”
That’s the simple version. The longer version can be found over at members5.boardhost.com/bettingman/. All you need to know is that the same rules as 2008 will apply and that the Betting Man will be limiting the field to 30 players (again) for his own sanity. Last year was our first where all eight WCC teams were represented at once. First come, first served, but previous players will have preference. You can even form your own little team like our Portland collective known as Pilot’s Twelve. WCC season starts on Friday, January 9th!
