Realistic shot at our first victory tonight.
Posted this elsewhere:
My Lions are 0-14 and travel to NAIA (transitioning to D-1) Seattle and the game will be played in the Key Arena, former home to the Sonics. Should be a cavernous and spacious atmosphere for those few spectators.
Seattle has a tradition-rich basketball program (Elgin Baylor went there) and is noted in the poker world for producing John Juanda.
The Redhawks have played several D-1 teams tough and posted wins over La. Tech, CPSLO, and UC Irvine.
The depleted Lions are still searching for their first win and hope to find it in a winnable three-game stretch that included Seattle U., Cal-State Bakersfield, and WCC rival Pepperdine.

There is not a betting line for the game.
For informational/educational purposes I made the line:
Seattle -5.5 O/U 111.5

Premature playing "Celebration" on the radio.
Hope that the slow pace will help our lack of depth/fading at the end of games problem.

If we play SU next year we will beat them by 25 points...this year we are just not good.

Very rough game to listen to. Down by 10 at the end. We are just too tired with only a 6 man rotation.

Q: What is the number one excuse used by a lion fan to hit the bottle?
A: Marco Deric

I would rather have Latimer in the game then Deric.

i would rather see a ten yr old in the game... it would be less agonizing... at least with a ten yr old you know he is not supposed to produce. Deric pisses me off so much because he is such a waste of a 6'10 body. It literally makes me sick and get a headache when watching him ATTEMPT to play college basketball.

“Marko will be a great addition to our program and will give us much needed depth in our front court,” said Tention. “He is a physical player who can really rebound the ball well and comes from a great program in Australia. We feel he will fit well into the things that we will be doing here at LMU.”

On the upside, Gonzaga lost to Utah.

With Matty gone, and Tim redshirting, Marko's really being exposed.

MAN...I remember when Chris Ayer and Matty Knight began to get fat before their senior years. SERIOUSLY guys....gaining weight when you're on college sports team that requires insane amount of running?!
