cagegirl, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you have no idea what you're talking about.

From the LA TIMES:
at Seattle 49, Loyola Marymount 39: Chris Gweth scored 12 points as the Redhawks (8-5) played their first home game as a Division I school, against a Division I school, since dropping from that level in 1980. The Lions (0-15) remained one of only six winless teams in the country and their losing streak reached 23.
Only six winless teams left!
We should play a exhibition against the Detroit Lions.
I want to see how we play with Teel back.
Go Lions.

I love the irony there. Heck, Marko's been more of a perimeter player than anything. With Matty gone, and Tim redshirting, Marko's really being exposed. Too much partying, I s'pose. They get lazy. We see it every year. MAN...I remember when Chris Ayer and Matty Knight began to get fat before their senior years. SERIOUSLY guys....gaining weight when you're on college sports team that requires insane amount of running?! Well, Marko's facebook status the day before the game said that he had his worst New Year's Eve ever... coincidence?

Will Teel be back in time for your game against us? Our Holmes is gone for longer than expected, so we likely won't have him.

cagegirl, I'm going to go out on a limb and say that you have no idea what you're talking about. I knew a bulk of the WBB team back in 2003. Raelen Self is one of my closest friends, and I still talk (intermittently) with Michele Brown and Bianca Ziemann. I heard enough stories about how much partying went on. I also got to hear about the stuff that was going on that SHOULDN'T have been. For example, I remember that around the time some MBB players began to partake in marijuana use, their performance levels dropped. I bet if I asked, you would have NO idea what the Mermaid was... All you have to do is look at Facebook to see what I mean about what I said. PS My comment was merely speculation, and I do remember watching a few players gain a ton of weight as the years progressed.

I found it on a Google search and had NO idea where it came from, but I saved it because I liked it way more than the ones we have...I love Iggy, but I just like how clean and classy this image is. :)

Well, it technically is a modified logo for the English Premier League, but it looks cool nonetheless.

I guess all those DII players would have lost to these DII players transitioning to a D1 in its first year.
Wow. This is really LOW.

SU is a DI school that is beating DI teams. Transition year or not, they are playing well, playing like a team, and dont have the individuals that can't play as a team like the teams they are beating.

Transition year or not, they are playing well, playing like a team, and dont have the individuals that can't play as a team like the teams they are beating. After all, SU had to have done SOMETHING to bring themselves up to D1 level, right? They can't just move up and then fall flat on their faces...that would suck.
