Last year we were shown recruiting Romaric Lasme - what happened - departed due to regime change or academics or what? And what happened to Isiah? Regime change or academics or what? I would like to know if anyone has info. Too bad Isiah never played a minute for us - our first Westchester player. DuBois is making up for his loss this season but I am still curious.

Lasme is at Laramie County Community College. I forget, or was unaware why he didn't sign up, but it very well could have been an issue of qualification. Rob Shrestha/Iron could probably enlighten the board on those specifics. My guess is that he was recruited by Myke Scholl and perhaps we could still see him as a juco transfer. I'd love to see the kid become a lion, his brother late bloomed into an absolute beast for the Zoomass Minutemen. www.lccc.wy.edu/Index.aspx?page=1488

Lasme was originally committed to Bryant under Good so I suspect that was the connection not Scholl. I think I heard that he failed to obtain a qualifying test score. If so, he wouldn't be eligible to matriculate until he graduated from community college.
I heard Jenkins failed academically. I don't think it was a big loss. I think he had the same limited drive on the floor that he had in the classroom.

Jenkins, was very lazy. He was poor academicaly and had a bad attitude. The athletics staff basically had to babysit him. They decided not to renew his scholarship.

Thanks Mr LMU '04 Good to know what happened with these two. Lasme may be a solid addition in the future is we have room on the team. Max Good may have an eye for recruiting good people who are also good players.
