Probably has something to do with us winning 3 games last year

LMU got nothing here. Maybe they will make some adjustments during the season as the relative strength of the various teams becomes better known? I thought I saw ESPN changes its plans in the past to bring on a competitive game with high interest of the fans.

Hang in there Lion faithful, not to long ago there was a team to the North with a 9 win season. I feel your pain. The future can only get better, hopefully with your talent level your going to surprise some people this year.
Because like the Pilot's last year, not many people will be expecting much different. Heck the Zag "Guru" on their board thinks the only new or valuable player you have is Drew Vinney (He's been reading his rivals, and scouts subscribtions, lol) What I would give for a St Mary's or Zag upset in LA. I know Coach Rev will never take you guys lightly, he prepares for everygame . The zags, lions, or a d-2 exhibition.
Isn't Larry Davis your best player, or am I way off base on that speculation? How's his injury anyway?
Pilot's are all healthy and ready for "Bulldog dinner" come Jan in the Chiles Center on ESPN. They seem to be really blending well and the Aussie vacation/working tour seemed to help them.

I'm biased, but either LMU/Pepp game would be worth it for ESPN considering each of our fan bases traditionally really get up for it, despite recent pitfalls.

Agree pdine, let see how Bell fares against our LMU squad this year - I fear the worst!

Agree pdine, let see how Bell fares against our LMU squad this year - I fear the worst! I'm just hoping I don't have to change my signature on my scout account this year, haha. You guys have definitely improved on paper with Davis and Viney eligible.

Re LMU on TV, the Lion's schedule on the LMU Athletic site shows 6 games on TV - including UC Irvine, Santa Clara, Gonzaga (both games), Saint Marys, and San Diego - not so bad as we feared from the first release. Not specific if the games are on ESPN or somewhere else.

Gonzaga and San Diego are away games but you make a good point. TV doesn't help if we are in Gersten anyway. Although it is nice to record the game and see how it looks on TV - there is a different perspective than you get at the arena live.
