I haven't seen him. I have a friend on that works for the team.
I'll know more once the practice happens today.

I'm sure he will be at Midnight Madness and the scrimmage tomorrow. I will try and identify him.

Great thanks for the confirmation! What a great weekend for a recruit to be on campus. Midnight madness, the scrimmage tomorrow- great weather.
I would love to get A.I. to commit. He would provided us with a true pg with strength and speed. According to what I have read about him he has interest from several A-10 and a few Big East schools. It would be great for him to join the Lions!
Alert, we might be going for both. Aziz is the number one priority.

My friend says that he it is very likely that AI is going to commit this weekend!
He says that he was surprised at how small he was. He thought in the neighborhood of 5'8-5'9. He said however he was very fast, and had amazing hops. He was able to slam dunk off two feet easily, when Laron was having trouble. I think that this would be a great get. I really hope we get him. My friend also talked to Jared, and he said Jared really likes him and thinks it would be a great idea to get another point guard.

I saw A.I. at Midnight madness and the scrimmage. He is 5'9 at most with shoes but he is very well built. Reminded me a lot of Damon Stodoumire who I met once. I have a good feeling about his visit but we will have to wait for an official word. I'll be very excited if we receive his commitment.

Great news! From his earlier comments, it appeared he wanted to wait until the Spring to commit to see what comes up. Incidentally, was that AI mopping the floor on the North side of the gym during the scrimmage (with a towel not a mop)? I thought it might be him. He seems to be gelling with the team already. He did look small though.

Haha...No that was a stundent manager. It would be a bad move having him mop on his visit.

Whew! Thanks ironlions - was AI in the stands for the scrimmage? Or by the team bench? In any case, I guess I did not see him.

ironlions - you know that I looked up AI's picture and now I think that was AI helping out to keep the floor playable. Nothing wrong with keeping your teammates from injury eh? He was in team huddles also for the team on the left hand side of the gym (from spectators perspective). See photo #8 of the photo gallery from yesterday's activities to see if that is AI with Osborne and Lawson. www.lmulions.com/view.gal?id=56522

That was NOT Anthony Ireland cleaning the floor. That would have been terrible haha. AI was sitting in the bleachers behind the basket during the scrimmage.
