The rankings are up! If St. Mary's is listed at 23, then I think we have a solid chance of getting some votes, maybe even on to the list. What you guys think? www.collegeinsider.com/mmpoll/

Three WCC teams (Gonzaga, Portland and St Marys) on the top 25 list - remarkable as there are 22 leagues included in the poll. A number of teams on the list had their coaches in the voting team, e.g., Longwood and Quinnipiac with one vote each! UCSB would rank #31 based on their 69 points. Other opponents this year: North Dakota State 14 points, San Diego 9 points, Santa Clara 2 points (coach is chair of committee). Montana coach is on committee. If we beat a number of these teams just below the top 25 and some in the top 25, we have a good shot at climbing into the rankings. How often do these ratings get updated?

New poll is posted. LMU did not get a single vote. I guess we need to win to register - not enough simply to play well. 4 WCC teams in top 25 - Gonzaga, Portland, Saint Mary's and San Diego. Santa Clara got a few votes also.

Montana got votes. I don't think Boise is eligible.
