I went to campus today to observe practice - it was not held this afternoon due to some other happenings at Gersten. During the visit, I saw construction of new fences across the hallway between Gersten and Burns Rec. I took this to be a way to improve access security for attendees at Gersten events (and baseball games). Does anyone have other info on the plan here?

The gates were indeed used for the Hope game to control access to Gersten and the snack bar. If you wanted to buy a hot dog (LMU dog) or nachos with cheese, you needed a ticket. ;D

I think it's a much better system. There was no cluster-F at the door. You could hang out outside and grab some food without having to fight past the ticket takers at the door.
I also noticed they seem to be putting up some TV's at the snack bar. I assume that is to play the live game feed. Nice.
