I absoluitely agree. Last year was so difficult because no matter how hard they worked on defense - it was a struggle to get the ball in the hoop. This year, we have a number of options that can scare in a variety of ways.
I like the outside shooting of a number of our players - and the new touch is that these guys can also slash to the basket, get some mid range stuff, nice easy drive and dish combos, and bang on the opponent when necessary.
There are players that will specialize in a certain area - for example, Garibay will be our inside man. I don't expect long range and mid range stuff from our posts. Our slasher stuff from our set shooting guards., But dang, Teel, Davis and Viney can push the range - and that opens it up for our posts, and our spot up shooters.
Scoring options galore - maybe it just feels like Christmas after last years stuggles. But so far, I'm enjoying the heck out of this year.
Keep it going, let's bang on UCI, and GO LIONS

I am now wondering how we actually won three game last year after seeing this year's talent! What progress for LMU. Injuries plagued our transition season, which would have been challenging in any case. Great heart from last year's players and JD's 39 against Bakerfield did not hurt! Let's win a few more, the Zags have laid down the gauntlet in their game against Michigan State in Michigan - the Spartans are breathing easier tonight after their nail-biting wil.
