Hopefully Tim will get a chance to bang away like he did his first year. With so much time on the sidelines hopefully he gets the nod tomorrow night. While it maybe a lesser opponent, for him to play solid defense, pump up his team and the crowd, and get some solid PT should do this team some good. He battales away in the paint and I look forward to seeing him show the staff he has the experiance to adapt to situations and create positive energy.

I would love to see the Timmy D we saw as a freshman. Its time for him, AO and Ashley to step up.

Agree with all comments. Tim did start the first three games (or so) but his performance was not up to his full potential. I would like to attribute this to his injury and difficulty recovering. He has the basketball IQ and great sense of unselfish team play to succeed - let's go Tim - we need you!

Timmy's strength is not where it will be - we've discussed that before. And, he's out of sync with not playing for so long. But his emotion, and the spark he brings to the court is something only a few of our players provide. I would think he will start, and get limited minutes, while he gets back into Timmy D shape. And I'm OK with that.

Just an update - I thought Timmy was solid last night. He took a very cheap shot, which had him out for an extended period of time. Regardless of that - he played well. Keep up the good work, Timmy D. Get strong. We need you.

It was interesting that the team kind of woke up a bit after Timmy D got punched in the balls. I liked Drew standing up for his team mate.

Actually, he wasn't punched in the balls. On one end of the court, they got tied up, and he took a hit to the face. Then coming down the court, he took a nasty sucker punch to the gut. Just under his ribs.
And yes, I was also proud Timmy's teammates stood up for him, but were restrained and smart about it. Viney showed good leadership in controlling that situation.

That's interesting, I was in a conversation with the A of A coach after the game and he said that his player said "he elbowed me in the face so I punched him in the balls coach".
I guess it doesn't matter...it was very cheap shot. And the coach said he was very unhappy with his player.
Timmy D had a nice game...between him AO and Ash. We should be able to absorb the loss of Big Ed a bit.
