Coach Max Good and Drew Viney will be guests on WCC Live tonight, the West Coast Conference's new sports talk radio show. We're looking for a handful of dedicated LMU fans to dial-in and ask them some questions. They will be on the show sometime between 8:30-9:00 TONIGHT (Wednesday, December 9th). The call-in number for fans to go on-air live is 646-378-1311 and you can listen to the show at www.blogtalkradio.com/wccsports.

Damn, I've got work. Can some ask why Brad doesnt get playing time. Or why we like to let our shooters try and shoot themselves out of cold streaks in the middle of games? I don't know, just a few things I've got on my mind

If I am able to call in I'd like to discuss recruiting strategy.

I don't know if they will be able to speak too much about recruiting.

Coaching staff is not permitted to speak about possible recruits. I believe only Anthony Ireland can be discusses as he has signed his LOI.

The coach can address any strategy - like he prefers certain geographics (some coaches like to keep coaches close to home), or he's looking for a point in the second class down the road... general stuff. Otherwise - he can only speak to players that have SIGNED an LOI.
I'd like to hear him address his mentality toward our defensive weaknesses. And how to get Viney involved in every play. Those two things are my major concern for the remainder of pre-season, and going into conference.

Can we ask him how much it cost to replace the watch he stomped on last year?

Yes, I would be looking at strategy not actual recruits! I'm glad the board is well versed in NCAA regulations though. irishlions, I agree that focusing on our defensive strategy would be a good idea too. How does Good expect to confront this problem. Will he be open to using different zone sets etc.

I listened in on the show - some internet connection problems from time to time. I heard some key questions asked of Max esp re AI but he could not answer due to his concerns re NCAA recruiting rules (probably over concerned here). Drew Viney answered why he came back to LMU from Oregon by saying he wanted to return home to Southern California but praised our current coaches for the help in developing him into a player for success at the next level. Good show - let's go get them Lions!

In one word of the price of that watch.....priceless. It was the conference tournament watch from the first time he took over for Bayno with UNLV. You dont find those on the street just anywhere, just in old players closets and sock drawers.
