The CIT had a head start in selecting some teams. Loyola Marymount, Creighton, Appalachian State and George Mason have accepted bids. Read more: www.denverpost.com/headlines/ci_14672259#ixzz0iCPT63HsSo this is finally official? I mean, I believed you guys, but why is this not on the LMUlions.com? A match-up with Pacific would be dynamite for our program. It would be a great opportunity for Max to prepare them for a tough game.

The CBI requires a $60,000 hosting fee.
The CIT requires a $31,500 hosting fee.

Another quote from CIT chairman and former Hawai'i coach Riley Wallace: Wallace said the tournament is designed exclusively for the mid-majors.
I'm anxiously awaiting LMU's first round opponent and hope like heck I can watch it on the same LMU online streaming link like I have every home game so far this season.

31K hosting fee? I guess that's why it's $25 a ticket.

Creighton averages over 12K. That kind of support and arena size could be the reason why their tix prices are lower.

They hold 2800 capacity and are only charging $15. Hmmmmm...maybe it's only $25 for the season ticket holders to retain their seats and $15 for the general public? Just thinking aloud here.

Wait, Northern Colorado's in the NIT, right? Not the CBI or CIT...

Wait, Northern Colorado's in the NIT, right? Not the CBI or CIT... Article from the Denver Post said the NIT was a slight chance and that they were most likely headed to the CIT because the CBI has a 60K bid, whereas the CIT is only 31,500 (NC would only have to sell 2K tickets to break even).

Huh, I find that odd. They're from a low end conference, but they have a very good record. Whatever, I was just kind of curious. Maybe they kind of struggled towards the end of the season. Regardless, they were the most successful UNC in the nation this season. ;D

No Portland in the NIT. That's a surprise snub. What does that mean for us?
Now that the NIT is out CIT should be releasing soon.

CBI website not loading so they must be updating for their brackets. NIT field is set. No earth shattering news except for a 16-16 North Carolina team being invited.
My guess is after the CBI releases their 16 teams, then the CIT will follow suit. Portland would likely be a candidate for the CBI.

The $25 price is the same as the "premier game cost" (Gonzaga, Pepperdine) www.lmulions.com/tickets/MBB.htmlThe only difference appears to be the $5 cost to students.
