Our team is now 4-1 on the young season with a hardpressed 8 point win over overachieving CSUB.

I was able to see the start of the game and it was going pretty good. Grubb looked really rusty. CSUB wasn't a complete joke like I thought, but we took care of them.
There was low attendance which isn't too much of a shocker, maybe 1,000 people. A nice sized caravan from Bakersfield but they didn't have much to clap about ;D.
I hope the lions can get some rest before their ESPN 2 debut.

CSUB played quite well for being new to D1. After his slow start JZ showed up big time! A great effort from start to finish by the Lions. Looking forward to the Alaska shoot out! Go Lions!

Is CSUB joining Big West? The lions played well and CSUB had some good shooters. I'm going to have to do some research on Alaska. They are Div II so hopefully we can manhandle them.

USC played Alaska-Anchorage last season and only won by 1 (or 2) points, I believe.

Alaska-Anchorage last game was vs. BEMIDJI STATE . Their two tallest players are 6'8. Go Lions!

It's difficult to tell how the Lions will do against Alaska. Currently they are just dominating their Division 2 opponents but like ironlion says... Bemidji State? That sounds like it is straight out of the Lion King.
Earlier this season Nevada put Alaska in its place but UNR is probably the strongest WAC program. LMU cannot afford to take them lightly, divine intervention will only get us so far. ;D
GO LIONS!

Is CSUB joining Big West? CSUB hasn't joined a conference yet but is looking to join its other CA state school brothers in Big West per Wikipedia.
