This was a hard fought game today. Notwithstanding their record, this USD team is very good and they played us neck and neck throughout the game. In fact, they had more shots on goal than LMU but there seemed to be no persistent offense from USD as the LMU defense was up to the task. The game was physical but mostly clean and there were lots of non-calls especially on several plays that bordered on tripping. Players and coaches were frequently frustrated with the officiating. Two LMU coaches got "yellow" cards from the ref. One fan noted that this is why we have 3 coaches! For those not in atttendance, the game weather was cool and damp with heavy marine layer and no hint of sunshine - just like London Lamb! Congratulations to LMU and let's keep it going.
