The Lions are 5-0, but it's not time to rest on our laurels. The next challengers are waiting for us on the road in Santa Clara. The Broncos are unbeaten in conference too at 2-0-2.
In addition the Broncos were resting comfortably up North while we were tested by the Toreros. Another test for the Lions.
Keep playing like they did today and there won't be any problems.
Lots of effort and team play payed off again! Go Lions!

One game at a time, I'm sure that's the message. Can't overlook the Broncos, even at 2-0-2 they will be dangerous. A misstep and everyone gets closer.
The Broncos tied Sac St, one of our losses, and they beat San Jose St 2-1, another of our losses.
Two of their losses are to Pac 10 Stanford and Cal. Like us they beat Saint Marys and the Zags. They however only tied the Pilots and USF.
Another battle brewing! Go Lions!

There are no easy games in the WCC - especially on the road. We were fully tested Wednesday by a motivated USD team with a mediocre record. Go Lions! Keep the "hot foot" hot!

Santa Clara's website verifies that Max scores off a corner and heads in tying goal with 1:10 left in regulation.
How many weapons does this team have! Max was substituted in early in the second half. These were his first minutes of the season.
The Lions were being outshot 10-2 when Max's took aim on the Bronco goal.
Max has been waiting patiently for his chance this year, way to step up when called upon!
Go Lions!
