Well since I can't stop being nervous tomorrow I just thought I would post a couple things I came across in regards to our fantastic senior Rafael Baca. Hopefully yesterday wasn't his final game, but if it was this site has him projected to be drafted in the third round of the MLS Super Draft by KC Wizards. www.draftsite.com/mls/ Also TopDrawer updated their Top 100 upperclassmen list and Rafa moved up to number 10 in the nation. www.topdrawersoccer.com/college-soccer/college-national-top-100/men#results Ok time for some sleep. Happy thoughts til 1:30.

I would be surprised if Rafa isn't drafted too, I'm nervous waiting for 1:30. TD posted their projections last night showing only Santa Clara making it from the WCC.
They showed Washington getting an at large as the third team from the Pac 6. Also had Irvine as the second from the Big West behind UCSB. The MWSF only gets one projected in their tourney winner Sacramento State.
Will it be us or Washington or somewhere else? It all depends on how many at larges are left and where they need to fill a spot.
We'll know in a few hours.

massey published their 11/14 list. They have us at 37, Washington at 18. Depending where we fall in the NCAAs rpi we'll be close one way or the other.

Its not on the LMU website yet but Rafa was voted to the NSCAA All American third team the other day. I added it here, also. Go Lions!

Yeah I saw it on the NSCAA site. Great for Rafa! What's really ridiculous is that he wasn't invited to the MLS draft combine. I still think he will get drafted, unless MLS knows something we don't about his intentions to play in a foreign league. Just bored speculation.

I don't know the process regarding the draft and combines but I'm sure we'll see Rafa playing somewhere in the future.
