LMU moved up five spots in yesterday's latest Women's RPI to number 73. The problem is time is running out. Not a revelation that we lost to Portland but another loss will probably knock us out of contention for a berth in the tournament. Another problem....Santa Clara 13, Peppers 57, San Diego 61, and St Mary's 67 are still ahead of us in RPI. Winning out over San Diego, Santa Clara, San Francisco and Saint Mary's is by no means out of the question. It will take three road wins, a tall order but we play them one at a time. If we do that, our RPI will have improved enough to rate inclusion for an at large berth. Top Drawer still has us and San Diego in their projection for the tournament, a good sign. Santa Clara isn't there, even with their RPI and top 25 ranking. The Lions are capable of proving the gurus at Top Drawer correct, now it's time to reward their faith and insight with some wins. Go LIONS!

College Soccer 360.com has us on the bubble at #50 in their most recent composite ranking dated 10-14. Their ranking can be viewed as a projection for the tournament based on the top 50 and the 14 second tier conference champions. Another voice in the desert saying we can do it! They project 4 from the WCC (Portland, Santa Clara, San Diego and LMU) and nine from the PAC 10!
