Thought I would answer some questions and provide info about the season.
Loyola Rugby moved up to DI from DII when the College Premier Division (CPD) was created in fall 2010. Prior to that Loyola Rugby went to the USA Rugby D2 Nationals representing Southern California in 2007, 2008 and 2009. Claremont was the representative in 2010 and decided to move up to the CPD in its inaugural year. The CPD is a national division consisting of 31 teams in 4 leagues. The Pacific League is made up of Cal, St Mary's, SDSU, Central Washington, Cal Poly, UCLA, Claremont and UC Davis. Cal is the dominate team followed as listed with both Claremont and UC Davis winless at this point of the season. Current CPD standings for all leagues can be found here -
