Great to see an LMU board. Im looking forward to reading and posting. Anyway; What are lions expectations for the season?
Preseason hype by blue ribbon, chn, cbs, zag board etc suggest a number 2 in wcc with potentially nit afterwards. Do you guys think this is reasonable? Personally, i think the return of damo plus newbies combined with improvements in all will outweigh the loss of wes and chris. I hope nit is the minimum the team should be aiming at.

Well the preseason hype has definitely taken me. I'm not going to hold my breath (ok I am) but the Lions are poised to be WCC champs. This can be our year.

Do you reckon that LMU will come out of the blocks running or do you think that, like last year, there was a period of settling down?. ORU is, in my opinion, the level of team that LMU should be expected to be like (if not better) this season. I expect that this first game will be a good indication of the level that the Lions are at (ie ORU I expect will dance this year). A win or a narrow loss and the season should be bright.

I think there will be some hiccups at the start if Pomona's game is any indication. But then again the lions weren't really playing at a serious level.
ORU's going to give us a real good look and how the system is working because I agree they are at our level. I hope a nice size crowd shows up to support the lions.
