His passes are so slick that he reminds me of Steve Nash in his prime. The kid has elevation also - some impressive dunks in the reels.
Maybe he has some connection with Nino via the Compton Magic? Might have helped with the recruiting.

I'm really excited for this pickup. I watched a few of his last games, and I know he's going to make a big impact with the Lions.

Good to hear Craft with AI graduating we have a big hole to fill. With a good replacement at PG we'll be dynamite next season . Kudos to Max and the staff!

He's gotten some good kudos but I've got two concerns. Several of the critiques comment that he has a tendency to play out of control. That's not uncommon with a high school player who is very, very quick. The question is, ..... will he be able to play smartly at the D1 level? Only time will tell how he responds to coaching and the totally different experience he faces next year at this time.
My second concern is his size. He looks really skinny. Will he have the strength to play the game at the D1 level? Think about how many times AI has been knocked around. AI isn't very tall, but he's built solid and has a lot of strength. How will Kyron fare once he's bumped a few times?
Point guard is a tough position for a freshman to pick up. It takes time. You have to learn not just your position, but all of the other positions as well. AI was a rare treat who had that ability as a freshman.
I'm not criticizing the recruitment. Kyron sounds like a great get for the Lions. But I would recommend exercising caution that he will have the ability to step into a key point guard role for us next year. Maybe he will, but maybe he won't. My guess is that next year Chase and maybe Nino will carry the bulk of the PG duty.

I think the points Winter makes above are well taken. Kyron will need to earn playing time by showing he can play well at the DI level as a freshman. My guess is that the opening depth chart at PG will be Flint, Heller and Kyron.

Kyron isn't bulky but he is strong and very athletic. A summer full of weights will also help him. As any freshman he will have to learn to play D1 ball. I see him sharing PG duties with Chase right away.

Ironlion - I hope you're right. I've not seen Kyron in person, just a few video clips. If he is able to step right in, that bodes well for the Lions next year.

Let's hope Ironlion is correct and Kyron shows the ability to step in from the outset. Indeed, that would bode very well for the Lions!
