longtime makes some good arguments about Mornar not playing. Basically, Marin lacks quickness and strength, assets Dunlap seems to value above other talents. I personally would have liked to see Mornar in the game. He is a good shot blocker inside and could have handled some of States 6'10" players near the hoop. State's two big men hurt us on offense, one mainly from under the net, as well as hindered our inside game.
As to Herman, he is not very athletic and has a tendency to trip over his own feet at times. I think he lacks confidence also. He failed to block out on one rebound off a State free throw, which really hurt at the time as State scored another basket, and Dunlap quickly benched him afterwards.
I did enjoy the game last night - this is an exciting team to watch, especially Jacko - he is quite a find for the team - and Brown.
Regarding the future, I can see Dunlap taking a very cold-hearted look at this roster and bringing in perhaps two more new players (and dropping some present players) if he can find the right recruits. I won't mention names but some guys don't seem to have the skill set to play Dunlap's game.

I like the idea of Jacko coming off the bench.
First of all, it at least enables him to not commit a foul in the initial few minutes.
And because of that, he can be aggressive immediately upon entering the game, which also gives the team some "instant offense" from the bench.

He might win the "Sixth" man award!
