Devin Watson has been granted permission to speak with other schools. Tough break for USF. We know the story all too well with the exodus that took place when Max left.

He should be getting a lot attention from high major schools. My money is he ends up somewhere else.

PAC 12 schools should be all over him.

While Devin has a lot of talent, I think he's too self-centered particularly late in games to be attractive to good Big 5 conference schools.
This season he was very good versus Gonzaga at USF in the first half but held the ball and put up bad shots in the 2d half leading to the Zag comeback.
Similarly, he wasn't much of a team player against LMU in either game. And, he shot poorly and missed big free throws late in the games. He held the ball and took some horrendous shots in the last few minutes of USF's WCC tournament loss.
Because of his shoot first style he didn't look like a fit for a Kyle Smith SMC style offense so his departure doesn't surprise me. I wish him well but my guess is that he ends up on another so-so team.

Looks like San Diego State and CAL are pursuing him pretty hard.

ESPN just said he committed to SDSU, good pick up for them, they needed a scorer.
