Here is my count: Returners: Markusson, Johanssen, Quintana, Bell, Alipiev, Douglas, Scott. Recruits: Lazar Z. Lazar N, Reilly, Keli, Jonathan. That's 12.

McClendon, Herman, and Batemon graduated. Williams, Gipson and Allen left the program. That totals 6 openings.
I think you are correct pumpfake. Thanks.

I think we need 1 more player. Need a PG, hopefully a JC transfer comes in.

Seebold seems like he would be a preferred walk-on.

That makes sense. Something wasn't computing. Thanks iron.

I very much doubt that Seebold is a preferred walk-on. As far as I know, preferred walk-ons don't make commitments and announce that fact.

I believe I read that Seebold holds the Texas high school state record for career three-pointers. So probably not a walk on.
Even with Seebold, the earlier computations were correct, we still would have one scholarship to give and I do agree that point guard would be a priority, preferably JC or a grad transfer as a one-year stop gap.

Ah ha! I see that 13 scholarships are allowed. I was thinking it was 12. Time to lock up/down a PG.

I have been told by a reliable source that the coaches are counting on Lazar Zivanovich to play point. I don't know if they are counting on him to start or back up somebody.

Quintana can play point. He would be better than Chase Flint. Intriguing that Lazar could play point.

I very much doubt that Seebold is a preferred walk-on. As far as I know, preferred walk-ons don't make commitments and announce that fact. Everybody makes commitments on twitter now. Maybe we will get clarification if LMULIONS.COM posts a story.

From his twitter account, it looks like he took an official visit to LMU. He's standing in the gym with the coaching staff, so it must be as a scholarship player and not as a preferred walk-on.

Seeing as Reilly is a Dallas kid. It would be great if Texascat could weigh in. You out there Texascat?

thx - maybe that will change as we now have three 3-point shooters: Quintana, Johanssen and Seebold.
