Douglas had an absurdly impressive 3PT % but Dunlap probably didn't let him or give him looks. Meanwhile Quintana shot an absurd amount of 3s for his %. I see that more as a construction of the "offense" than chances. This team badly will still need a point guard who can drive and kick, because that isn't Quintana against the majority of the WCC. Q can still definitely provide steady off the bench as a lead guard but this team will need somebody who can penetrate off the dribble. One other thing is that this makes next year's rotation interesting. Someone that didn't get any minutes last year will suddenly have to be thrust into that role. Apiliev who people said was ready to impact the WCC was MIA for some reason. I wonder if he slides into a starter's role from getting 0 minutes. 6 of 13 players..that's basically half the squad. That's some major roster turnover.

We have two Lazars in our recruiting class? Can someone post a summary That might have been an error from the poster, I think there is only one unless someone corrects me. We still don't have a top-minute PG though.

I have been told by a reliable source that the coaches are counting on Lazar Zivanovich to play point. I don't know if they are counting on him to start or back up somebody. That is actually very interesting. There is no way they could be counting on Zivanovich to come in and immediatly play much point guard. That would blow my mind. Not much video, but this kid looks like he can do a lot, including ball handling. But if he really could step in and play point now, how on earth did we get him? An athletic 6'6 kid that can play point guard is extremely rare. Gilgeous-Alexander was never coming to the Lions. Plus, this kid has been on Serbia's FIBA team for years. They are one of the top 5 in the world. Also was around Real Madrid when Doncic was there. What I'm saying is that people have seen him play. Agree we could really use a point guard that can create his own offenese, but Quintana is a nice player. He is not a kid that you need to hide on defense. At his size, that is surprising, but he's a tough little in your face on ball defender. Lazar is a super common name in Serbia. Biblical, Lazarus. Both look intriguing, but if Zivanovicch can play the point, that'll be big time.

Looks about the same size as Zafir Williams? 6’7” 206. I think we still need a PG, we have lots of ammo at Forward.

I don’t disagree that we need another guard, but Dortch shot 47% on threes and 80% from the free-throw line this past season. There’s a lot to work with there.

These appear to be a younger Dortch:

True PG with a great looking 3-point shot.
From the second tape, looks like Aaron would have fun in Dunlap's Boot Camp.

He's a lefty and seems to have a good ability to get to the bucket. He does also have a nice stroke from 3. Maybe he will be the point guard we need for this class.
