I've gone back and forth on Dunlap and more often than not, called for a new coach and approach. There's something about his personality or demeanor that just rubbed me the wrong way at times. That being said, I do believe he is the right man for the job now. Has he done wonders in a short amount of time? No. Has the team steadily improved each year? Yes. Part of my problem was he struck me as a robotic and I thought that hurt us with some players and assistant coaches. I now think that he's a more scientific and analytical type coach. But the what really has turned me in favor of him is that he is an extremely good defensive coach. Not always exciting and he needs to find more players that can score and ways to score, but I can not deny his defensive acumen. The NCAA finals was won by Virginia, the team that allowed the least amount points scored on them (56.1) in all NCAA. The team they beat, Texas Tech, allowed the third least(59.5) LMU ranked 13th in the country(62.5) Think that's worth noting.

Good points Ireland. I would add he has done a decent job recruiting, including somehow finding international players.

Texas Tech (with better athletes) followed the same gameplan LMU used against Gonzaga. We gave them a hard time in both games, and what was noticeable in the 2nd game was that we actually beat them on the glass.
