I saw larry earlier around campus and he is in a boot and crutches. Hoepfully it is not serious and he will be able to get some good practice in this summer.

Yeah, let's not panic yet. I mean, for crying out loud, the current season's still going on.

A friend of mine was there playing pick up when Larry went down. He said Larry was in a incredible about mount of pain, which is not a good sign. =(

Anything close to that timetable would be horrible. Sorry to hear.

Terrific, I guess I'll be lowering expectations a little earlier this offseason. FML

At least it happened now instead of during the summer. If he meets the timetable, he'll be back before the conference schedule starts.
Besides, as a positive, Given will get more playing time at the beginning, and with any hope, the schedule won't be as daunting.

this is horrible... even if back for conference, that hurts any realistic chances at an at large bid... if there ever was one. It gives Given playing time but Davis was looked at as a key contributor next year. The curse of Hank lives on.

Can we please make sure that trainers are following these guys 24-7 and keeping them taped up!? This is getting ridiculous.

Achilles are bad news too. See Brandon Johnson. At least it happened now not later. However, its still a tough injury to come back from. BEst wishes Larry. Get well and hopefully we will all see you back on the court somewhere near the start of the regular season

This really has to be some sort of record for injuries to one D1 team. I read on the net that recovery time can be any where from 6 to 12 months. Let's hope its closer to the 6 months time period. I really feel bad for Larry after already sitting out a year to have to deal with this. I'm glad a we have 8 months before the season starts. Its also good we have Teel and Kalipinde on the roster to step up while Larry recovers.
Get well soon Larry!
