If LMU was not the school for him why is he always on campus. I've seen him here this year more than I have seen him here last year. Is he trying to come back? I swear he was with Tim D. this weekend flexing like he was LeBron Jr. Next time I see him on campus I'm confronting him for real. Who is going to join me because he does look bigger.

OJ never should have left.

He would have been a great 6th or 7th man.

Doesn't like the marine layers and fires in Santa Barabara? Or what? The campus and locale are nice but it's not LA. Perhaps, misses the energy of the city? We will see him next year and he probably regrets leaving - let's hope he does after we play his new team.

By the way, is he letting his hair grow out or is it close cropped? His longer strands stood out and I liked them for him.

I really don't understand the vitriol for OJ. Rodney promised him the world to play at LMU, and when that didn't come to fruition (to put it mildly), he transferred. I just hope we all keep in mind that our supposed saviors for next year are transfers themselves. Do they have the same character flaws as OJ?
lmuhistorian, please let us know how your confrontation with him goes. I hope you're able to say that he'd be a great 6th man to his face.

I confronted him this past weekend in a soft voice and I was rational about the whole coming back situation. He happened to be on campus with Brandon Walker. He explained that he visits his brother* Tim Dedrichs at least once a month. When asked about missing LMU. "No comment. The past is the past ....... I wish LMU much much success and even last year I was rooting for all the new guys to do well." Do you read the Lions Den? "I read what people write in the Lions Den and they got me all wrong. My life is not based on a negative comment said by a frustrated student or alumni, because I hated losing too. All I will say is I wish LMU the best they are my 2nd favorite college basketball team." We better beat UCSB! photos-g.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc1/hs114.snc1/4695_82252926343_578561343_1958294_6023904_n.jpg*brothers (life long friends) After reading this post Orlando will always know who confronted him and didn't back down. He is a nice guy though, to bad he is a Gaucho!

Great posting - what happened to OJ's notorius hair? I know it was cropped in the later part of his freshman year at LMU, but this is another paradigm altogether! Good luck to him at UCSB - their campus in not so bad either.

Looked at the great photo again and noticed that Tim could use a bit more time in the weight room working on those pecs!
