???With our four new recruits and only 3 open scholarships, I expect one 2008-2009 team member to be dropped from the roster (and lose his scholarship). Is this confirmed to be Sutton? When does the team formally announce his status - or is it just preferable for LMU to go low key and let the fans figure it out?

My guess is he may be offered what our other previous players were offered after Tention was let go. A presidential scholarship. This is a full paid academic scholarship that will let Terron finish his degree in 2010.
It is a classy move by our University, and one that some other Universities in our conference do not do.
I have a feeling we will hear more soon.

Thanks lambdachi - that is good news. A class act on LMU's part.

USD is losing players faster than USC.

Thanks fanblade - we are not alone here. I guess Braswell had two seasons without much (if any) action on the court assuming he was not injured - so he had a chance to impress the coaches enough to earn minutes and didn't deliver. What do I know anyway?

Farewell Terron - you are not on the next year roster. Remember, everything generally works out for the best and perhaps basketball is not your path to success in life.

Thanks - also still show last year's roster. Terron will add needed size to the team.

LMU let another jewel pass by in my book He was injured two of the three years he was at LMU. The first injury self induced by doing the splits at midnight madness. Maybe a new location and playing at a NAIA school is a better fit for TS.

I watched TS in numerous games over last summer and he clearly didn't have the talent to play D1 ball. In my opinion, it seemed liked he could careless about basketball in general.

hdr - welcome aboard. We are OK without Terron but I am glad he landed on his feet. He really did not do much when on the floor two years ago. He has size but that is about it. He may do well at his new level of competition while at Biola.
