Even if we lose by 30 we will still have done better against them then Pepperdine's recent game.

Did Pepperdine lose by something like 45 or 50? I saw it roll across the ticker and thought maybe it was a joke. I may stop by Fireside. It is definitely more jazzed up with flat screens since the renovations but the service remains-- awful. I was chewed out a few weeks ago when I asked if they carried ESPNU (they thought I was saying ESPNnew, ESPN2, ESPNblue???) I did not think I had a speech impediment. They did not carry ESPNU I found out some 30 minutes later.  Go lions.  |

At least we did better than the Ripples up there.
Nice to see the commentators sound so optimistic about the coaching staff. Makes it clear that Lawton and Husek are the ones to blame, with their terrible financial management of the program.

Big guys played well at times. Think they wore down in the second half.
Major weight room work in the offseason will help, but some encouragement from the efforts of Sweezy, Maynard, and Deidrichs.

at least it wasnt anywhere as bad as Chris Ayer's missed layup/whatever he was trying to go as time expired in the WCC championship to land us #1 on sportscenter's not to 10

Our boys have gotten dunked on pretty bad a few times this year. Is the a clip to his dunk on Deadwiler?

Unfortunately yes.
The game was a little surreal. But not in the intriguing Salvador Dali way, but in the I'm not sure wether to laugh, cry, scream, clap, explode.
