Below is the link to the ESPN family of networks coverage of WCC Basketball. Quite disappointing for LMU Men's Basketball as they will appear only twice [compared to 9 regular season games last year on ESPN family of networks. Last year in total LMU had 18 televised games through ESPN family of networks, CSTV, Regional Fox Sports Networks, and MTN.] Maybe the America Channel ( www.americachannel.us/index.php) will pick up some LMU games. If you have DirecTV and want it to carry America Channel, I suggest that you submit a “comment” requesting it to carry the channel ( www.directv.com/DTVAPP/customer/howToReachUs.jsp). There are over 19 NCAA conferences/170 universities ( www.americachannel.us/ideas.php ) that are partnered with America Channel. www.cstv.com/auto_pdf/p_hotos/s_chools/loyo/sports/m-baskbl/auto_pdf/200708-WCC-TV-ReleaseI realize that for those of you who have season tickets and go to the games, LMU televised games may not mean much. However, for that recruit who is considering an offer and see that he or she will get exposure on television, televised games mean a great deal. __________________________________________ LIONSPRIDE SIGNATURE How to increase attendance at LMU Basketball Games: 1) Tell someone you know that does not attend games and have them join you; 2) Call the athletic office and ask what they are doing to bring awareness of LMU basketball to the community (let alone its own student population) 3) Donate your tax deductible contribution specifically to LMU Men's Basketball and have it tagged for increased publicity. LionsPride's answer to most things = attendance

Very dissapointing that LMU does not have as many games on ESPN as last year. That was a great treat for us fans and the players. I agree 100% with you lionspride that the WCC's acess to national tv games (and LMU's) is the key to big time recruiting.
Hopefully FSN and CSTV can also pick up some of the slack.

Its not surprise that we have fewer games this year. Last year were picked to finish 2nd in the WCC and challenge the Zags. This year we are very young.

Actually just LMU gets screwed with no ESPN or ESPN2 games this year. Lame. Maybe the powers that be are still smarting after our nationally televised upsets last year. Luckily we'll get some ESPN when we make it to the semis and finals ;D
