I'm interested to see how we respond after a vomit inducing performance against Santa Clara. It will be interesting to see what will happen with St. Mary's over the off season. The Oregon State coach was fired today and I believe Bennet is at the top of their list or replacements.

So far we are still in the game even though Mills has not been a factor (I hope it stays that way). Down 14 but we were down a touchdown or more in Boise and we know what happened there. Same old story, guards carrying with 3pts, inside--- not so much.

Another extremely poorly played game. Saint Mary's is very good but we should be able to hang a little more convincingly. Garbage time came with about 2 minutes to go  . I do still believe that Saint Mary's will win the WCC. Time to get ready for Pepperdine. |

Garbage time came with about 2 minutes to go . Should have started earlier.  30+ losses are too much. Whether it is against top 25 or DII. That is why I am upset with all the chippiness in the game. Simpson shoved Sweezy as he was going into a huddle when they were up like 20. What the hell are you trying to front about. The rivalry game coming next week is big. Will be a lot of pressure. I am sure even with the chaos in malibu the fans will be out in force. |

I miss blaming refs for our loses. Although we agonized over that a little more than a year ago, it feels like it was 20 years back. Ziri had almost as many rebounds tonight (5) than Craig and Diederichs COMBINED (6). |

Another night of the WCC playing well and the Lions playing poorly. Pepperdine only lost to St. Mary's by 5 points. I hate to tell you this but they are probably going to beat us next weekend.  |

Hello Lions Fans .......
I went to both of our games this weekend. My take on things. We played very average against Pepp, and they played great like they had nothing to lose under their new coach.
Rico Tucker, and Tyrone Shelly are really good.
Bennett was HOT, and the showing last night was much better.
For whatever my opinion is worth ......... Orlando Johnson is awesome, I'd love him on my team any day !
Deitrich's is ok, but got worked by Diamon Simpson all night.
Your big 7' center who I think is from Canada was a non-factor. Maybe he will be good down the road. But not last night.
The Lions never quit in the first half. At one point we were up 17, and you cut it to 8.
I dont know enough about Tention to know if he is any good. He seems like a classy guy who your players respect.
FYI. In todays paper up here R. Bennett was quoted as saying that he has "ZERO" interest in the Oregon St. Job, that he felt our program was set up to be really good the next couple of years.
With the team returning, and the recruits, and the Indiana transfer Ben Allen, no way Bennett leaves next year. But, maybe the year after.
Keep your heads up. Your team is going to be ok. Just watch

Thanks for your message. I'm glad Bennet is going to stay at St. Mary's. He would be foolish to leave at this point. Sorry we couldn't give you guys a better game.

How low is low? Losing 9 of 10 and 12 of 14 is pretty bad. Having been embarrassed and run out of the gym in 3 of our 4 conference games. Game scoring low of 35 that dates back a half century.
This is not priceless. This is talentless stats for a WCC program.
Need a change? Write a letter to Lawton and Husak. For everyone has a voice and to use it will help in faciliating change.
