Ready to represent your prognostication skills? For those of you that have never heard of our little enterprise, here’s the scoop: You start with $1000 FAKE dollars. I post the spreads. You make your picks. A champion is crowned at the end of the WCC season. The reward? The adulation and respect from your fellow WCC Pickers. Last year’s champ? A newcomer to Pick ‘Em, Gael One. That’s the simple version. The longer version can be found over at members5.boardhost.com/bettingman/. All you need to know is that the same rules as 2007 will apply and that the Betting Man will be limiting the field to 30 or so players (again) for his own sanity. First come, first served, but previous players will have preference. You can even form your own little team like our Portland collective known as Pilot’s Twelve.
One other great thing about last season was that we had at least 1 representative from every WCC fan base in our little game. Saint Mary's fans took the inaugural Fan Pick 'Em crown, with a collective .600 pick percentage from their three participants.
