I would advise you to keep quiet about subjects you don't have the slightest clue about. I know Bennett personally and he very happy with his current job situtation. He didn't interview for any jobs this year. Arizona St. and Hawaii were simply rumors. In fact, he just signed a large extention through 2012-2013.

Like I said, read this next year if they have a winning season. I know a lot more then you think my friend! You want to talk smack, I will bring it! By the way Extensions don't mean crap. He gets a better offer Bennett is gone. I don't blame him either that gym is a joke! I like your comment about he didn't interview this year, which tells me if you are close then you know I am right about the Pepperdine Job. So please do yourself a favor and rest your mouth.

These super ethical rich boys don't have any problems slamming me on their pm. I didn't hire Kenneth Starr as Law Dean or or hire a used car dealer or kick kids off a team for not having Barry Goldwater posters above their beds. What a bunch of goons, can't wait to smoke them and their Calipari disciple. Let's not forget Calipari had to forfeit all his Umass tourney winnings for paying Camby and Bright. Our Big boys are gonna take you to head fake city before everyone on Pepperdine gets busted by Chris Hansen.

Should Firestone really be telling someone is gym is a joke! Pot calling kettle there. I wouldn't hold your breathe for a Few and Walturd show and good luck ever getting a new arena built, the neighbors will love it! Because we all know that Pepperdine is really bringing the crowds to their games. That record breaking number of 1251 (or last in the WCC) is going to get that gym FAST.

shredda: don't know who's been slamming you in pm, but nice generalizations. you're delusional, but at least creative in the process.
as far as your guys taking us to 'head fake city'... knock yourselves out. you can do that all you want on our way to sweeping you yet again this year. i can't imagine your first exhibition performance gives you hope for a better performance this year.

I am enjoying the fact that Walturd is burning Pepp down. Their APR is going to be in the toilet and sanctions will probably start rolling in sooner or later. He is planning on doing whatever it takes to win and then hit the road. Hope Pepp enjoys having about 4 scholarships for the next few years... PUPS, hope you keep this post so when you are rolling around in the ashes you remember you were warned!!

pdine I'll buy you a beer if you beat us even once. I'll bring moxie if your public safety defecates themselves. Those guys are seriously on goon par with L. Ron's sailors. We're gonna smoke you twice. Orlando is going to dunk on your hair-plugged god Calipari's defense, and then dunk on it some more. Have fun in head fake city and please send a postcard from broken ankle village,

I also got a laugh out of the Gael fan talking about how Bennett wants to stay at the Mid-Major level.
C'mon, he interviewed for Hawaii and tried his ass off to get Arizona State. Word on the street is if Cal opens up... well nevermind.
Also, to talk about sleazy, you know he and Vance W. aren't friends anymore because Bennett got pissed Vance's son went to Malibu to finish his career. Are you kidding me? The kid wanted to play for his dad and he's gonna hold a grudge?
About the Pep allegations -- I agree with most you, it's a little shady. But you know what, I don't blame him one bit. What's going to happen to him if he doesn't get good enough players to win??? He gets fired. He's just trying to cover his own a$$. SCU fired, er, failed to renew, a long time great who won 20 games. What do you expect these coaches to do. They create a competitive program, graduate their players, go by the rules, and don't beat the Zags (who pump way more money into their program than any of those other clowns) and they GET FIRED!!
So as long as everything is compliant with NCAA rules, go for it. Go get players, beat Gonzaga, and then everyone else in the conference will think they should be doing the same and they'll fire their coaches too.

WCC Guest you bring up a relevant and disturbing issue. Yes, what Walberg has done might be 100% legal but is it the right thing to do? Is it acceptable? Should we really care? Should be encourage him? Ethics is separate from legality.
Walberg has a responsibility along with his coaches, players, and Pepperdine as an institution to carry themselves in an ethical manner. We are humans living in a community that thrives when one another lives ethically. We should not be applauding unethical tactics because this is a dog-eat-dog world or we believe that college basketball lives in a zero-sum environment. Just because something does not violate the NCAA code of conduct or US law does not mean it is legitimate or worthy of praise.
No one knows what really happened all we can do is look at the evidence. Folks, when it comes to ethics and laws, that is always the case.
Walberg has the responsibility to recruit in an ethically manner, him not doing so is very bad for the conference, his team, and his family. People are not as gullible as he may imagine and there are many eyes on him.

You have to understand, he's not the only one doing so. Take a look at USC in football, they make late offers leading up to signing day: Not because they need the player, but so they don't have to face them for 4 to 5 years. While I do believe it is wrong, it's also important for the coach at Santa Clara to continue recruiting the player, regardless if he's committed. If the LMU coach ran into a top level recruit, and that player was committed, but wanted to know about LMU, the coach would tell him. And I guarantee there would be a spot if he had the opportunity to steal him away.

I'm sure George and SHAMsud all of a sudden "wanted to know" about Pepperdine.

That could very well be true, I don't know much about either program, but I guarantee you that SHAMsud made a decision that will benifit LMU over the next 4 years.
