And, aussielion don't be a stranger. As your name states you too are a Lion now and this den is your home. We look forward to your frequent posts and fellowship. Go Lions and go Humphries!

Humphries as some said earlier does have that raw Dellevadova style about his game. I saw him play two games for his Iowa School and what surprised me was his hustle and ability to rebound with impeccable timing/use of body. He creates second chances on offence regularly and get to the gaps. He does not take a backwards step and seemed up for a challenge. He scored in bunches, but I think in Dunlap's system he will benefit from freeing up other guys as he will draw a great deal of attention being a threat both inside and out. He posts bigger and smaller guys up a lot so that will be something to watch with interest at the next level. If Dunlap can keep him working like this in his structure, he will be a real threat in the WCC. Don't expect big dunks as you won't see them, however what he lacks here, he seems to out work guys with sheer grit and just simply gets the job done. A raw talent, that is hard to scout against as the best part of his game is out working his opponent.

Great to see that Wyatt is still aboard.
Between Levin, Mornar and Wyatt, the power forward position seems pretty much taken care of.
With Payne, Egbeyemi and Humphries we also have three shooting guards that we can throw out there for various match-ups. I get the feeling that he'll be our 6th man and that Deji will get a lot of burn in a 3-guard line-up. I like that Humphries looks like he's been in the gym. Helps that he's a man not a skinny kid. Against San Francisco and San Diego we tend to get physically out-matched. I think Dunlap even alluded to that when he knocked the training regime when he first got here. While I liked Stover's potential, its been a mission to get his body prepared to play high level DI basketball. CJ has that body, but likes to operate on the perimeter, so it was kind of a waste. This Aussie Humphries looks like he's willing to bang around in the paint and sacrifice his body to get rebounds and make plays.
As for Wyatt, he has a ton of athletic ability and his mark seems to be made as an interior defender. In Texas, that mean's he knocking around with some big burly kids not our hungry LAUSD starving students. Hopefully those two give us a little toughness that we haven't had since....well I'm not sure I remember any tough kids since I've been a follower of the program in '04

LMU to announce another signing very soon. This one will make an interesting addition. Dunlap is making moves and seems to be putting his chess pieces in place. Well done coach!!!

Two players with international experience that can produce double-doubles and triple-doubles...I love it! Great job, Dunlap and staff.
Point guard was our biggest need, by far. This looks like a tremendous fit.
Still two more signings to come, too, right? This is like Christmas in May!
Go Lions!

I won't confirm that officially, but as i type this the roster is almost complete, so this week should see the final 'official signings'. This is a new look team that can challenge in one year. A huge culture change in the Lions den. I think this team will surprise a lot of others with their discipline and ability to work as a collective group. #legitthreat!!!!

Ghost - would that be Michal Cekovsky, who was described as "the most impressive player" on the Canarias team? He scores and rebounds.
