We talked all preseason that there would be a lot of turnovers.
I'm going to look at the brighter side although Coach T's quotes in his post game interview "No excuses" are spot on the young lions outplayed UCI in the second half. So lets build on that for our next game. The Mercer team we play after Thanksgiving just beat #18 USC.

hey dead3man, congrats...Deadwiler had a great game, I hope this is a sign of something to come.
I like how Coach T put it: "No excuse". Two games into this season and I am already tired of finding excuse. We need to turn things around sooner rather than later, not just for team morale but for attendance sake as well.

From the OC Register about LMU's loss to UCI
The Anteaters kept the pressure on the Lions (0-1), who spent much of the time fussing with their shirts, which kept slipping to one side. But Loyola Marymount's oversized jerseys weren't the only thing bothering the Lions. The Anteaters' quick pace also seemed to fluster them.
I hope this is writer's flare and we really are not wasting time with baggy jerseys when we should be playing hard.  |
