Thanks Fanblade This speaks well for School and Farr and paints a great picture for AI . Personally, I think AI will be signed as an undrafted free agent and I'm hoping it's with the Lakers who need help at point. Let's cross our fingers for our All-Star player! If he stays in LA we'll get to see more of him.

I'm hearing Anthony has been invited to play on the Lakers summer team.

Good news. The Lakers roster is in considerable flux at the moment which is good for AI. If the Lakers can deal Nash, who knows?

Very nice article. Top players sometimes receive standing ovations from opposing teams, coaches and fans; but I haven't seen too many times when referees will wait around to congratulate a player. One thing I know they all appreciated was the total lack of antics from AI when a call didn't go his way. You'd see him shake his head a little at times but he was always the consummate professional on and off the court.
I certainly wish him all the best but the NBA is a tough hill to climb. I remember when Steve Nash came out of Santa Clara. He was great in college and I knew he had what it took to be a success in the NBA. Despite all that evident skill he bounced around for several years under appreciated. We all know where he ended up but it took years of hard work before he got there.

Wow! Dare we dream that such a deserving player but challenged by his size could land with the Lakers? Go show them Anthony - we know you can do it!

I hope Anthony looks to Isaiah Thomas as inspiration in how to make it in the league. Anthony obviously is a coach's dream, he has the ability to be a true PG, but also create for himself offensively. But what would really give him a shot is to develop an outside shot. Thomas only shoots about 36% from beyond the arc, but its an improvement. A.I shot 30% last year, but two season ago shot 37% from the NCAA line. Thomas also scores 62% of the time inside the restricted area so he's effective near the basket. A.I needs to focus on those areas.
Most of all, he needs an opportunity. I'm not sure if its with the Lakers since they have Steve Nash clogging up the roster, Marshall has a cheap option who played well as a pure PG and the draftee Jordan Clarkson (unless they see him as a combo guard). If the Lakers sign Anthony and Gasol and find a way to cut Nash, they'll need to surround those stars with unselfish glue guys desperate to stay in the league and play hard for cheap.

AI seems to have the situation well in hand in the fine photo from Iron.
