Verbal commits reports that 2015 Canadian Point Guard Munis Tutu has been an offered by LMU. This is not just a blatant attempt for LMU to win the "all name" team for the foreseeable future. Munis looks to be a smooth operator. He is a great ballhandler, quick, good bounce, good shooter, and plays with a confidence that a point guard needs to have. Check out this video: Let's sign him! I already can see him penetrating and dishing to Patson and Marin and kicking it out to Evan and David.

I like this young man - he finishes with either hand under the basket and is a true PG. Wow, if we had a PG like this who could score and dish! Here's another highlight video when he was in 10th grade. www.verbalcommits.com/players/munis-tutu

I couldn't see where any big schools have offered. A number of similar mid-majors are on the list but no offers I could find in a brief review.

According to multiple reports, PG Munis Tutu has committed to LMU. From what I have seen, he looks like he is going to provide the speed, quickness, and athleticism that we need at the point. Great news!

Great News....
As i have mentioned before on this site...I know this year was a disaster, but i'm not going to even start to grade this coaching staff and the CMD era until at the earliest start of conference play next season. I want to see what CMD does with a full summer with these guys and who he gets.

A very important get. If Dunlap failed to land a legit point guard, the game was over. Kid is obviously starting the second he is eligible. Starts from day one, obviously. Beating Butler and Auburnt perhaps makes me see some light? . Huge, so huge. I'd break that Krakovic kid's ankles, as would everyone under 40 in a park league. Jury's still out, but this is the most positive news I've read here in a whole while.http://northpolehoops.com/2014/04/08/munis-tutu-set-break-summer/#.VPmgwi59Fjn

“Yesterday I was at dinner, talking to coach Dunlap talking about all the NBA players he’s coached. He believes when I’m done at Loyola, that I can play professionally.”

A big takeaway is that the kid sounds smart and humble. We also Dunlap's recruiting angle.
Very interesting interview.
