From the Sam Houston site:
Sam Houston State will play host to Loyola-Marymount Wednesday at 7 p.m.at Johnson Coliseum in a game matching the Bearkats against a top national team.
Its nice to be consider " a top national team". Now let's play like it. Sam Houston is talented team that had 22-9 record in 2005-06. They are favored to win the Southland Conference and are lead by Jejuan Plair. So far they have no impressive victories and have had lopsided losses to Ok State and Texas Tech.
It would be great to have a game where both Brandon and Knight did the thing and Ziri a Doh both had strong games. It was nice to see Deadwiler in the game against SC. I think he will be great for us. He played with confidence and increasing his minutes could hopefully help us cut down our turnovers.
Does anyone know anything about Sweezy? What about Cory is he injured again?
Go Lions!

That is quite the compliment to the Lions. I cannot seem to find any active message board for SHU.
The lions have the ability we just need to show up and I am sure we will. A big win can get us back on track! Go Lions!

I don't know what this will mean for us but Sam Houston State lost to Baylor by 67 points last night!

, fortunately for the bearkats I think that was just the women's team and not men's. baylorbears.cstv.com/sports/w-baskbl/recaps/120406aac.htmlI did notice that SH had a hell of a time fighting off resident bottom-dweller Alcorn St, in a 81-78 win. I hope we don't have another cold spell. Let's go lions!

The guys should be ready to come out strong. Save face after that nasty spill downtown. Yup - and that was the one (and only) LMU game I went to this season. I got to spend a little time on campus Monday afternoon (before flying out yesterday afternoon). It was nice to be back. Go Lions!
