With Jeffery McClendon's college career winding down, I wanted to share this stat. Since the stat "steal percentage" began being kept in 2009-2010, Jeffery has the best career steal percentage of any player in the WCC. www.sports-reference.com/cbb/conferences/wcc/leaders/stl-pct-player-career.htmlWhat is "steal percentage"... Steal percentage is a metric that is intended to highlight the percentage of opponent team possessions that end with a steal by a specific player. Jeffery is one of my all-time favorite Lions, and with his career about to fade like a sunset, us fans should make sure to give him the proper sendoff.

Interesting statistic Now we’ve quantified how big a pest Jeffrey really is to the opponents! Surprised to see the high rating for Alex Osborne but he did have quick hands. Thanks for posting and yes Mr. McClendon is a very good player.

He is going to be very hard to replace- best defender I have seen since Damian Martin.

Iron- Damian Martin was the player I was trying to think of as I could not find him on the steals list, surprisingly.

The list only begins in 2009, after Damian’s departure. I agree, he had quick hands and was also fun to watch. Even was on the 2016 Australian Olympic team, I believe.
