Hey Iron Lions:
Not a high school player, he's someone who will come in and contribute right away. Knows how to run a team.
My projected starters and team:
C Deric/Craig/Diederichs PF Sutton/Mason/Diederichs SF OJ/Ziri/Sweezy SG - Ziri/OJ/Jenkins/Walker/Deadwiler PG - On his way/Walker/Counts/Deadwiler

Ok, I know it's impossible for you to give us a name. How about the school he is transfering from?

The more info I tell you, the more you will want. At least I would. I wouldn't give you this, but it is leaking out anyway. This is it though. One of his initials is a Q.

Good luck Damo!
Damian Martin (188-G-84) will return to Australia to join the West Sydney Razorbacks for the forthcoming NBL season. Martin, who has been playing for Loyola Marymount University, captained the Australian under 20 team in 2003 that won the world championship and was an Australian Boomers squad member in 2006. source: NBL media
“We are delighted with the signing of Damian Martin,” said Chairman Phil Hudson. “He has been rightfully identified as a future leader by Head Coach Rob Beveridge. Damian's pedigree as a quality basketballer speaks for itself. We look forward to Damian joining the Razorbacks and see his signing as a huge asset for the club and a significant investment for our future.”
For coach Beveridge, it's an opportunity to rekindle an old working relationship. “I have had a long association with Damo where he was the captain of NSW State teams and in particular was the captain of the National Junior Team which won the World championship in 2003,” Beveridge said. “He is a pure point guard with excellent passing skills and more-so is a great leader on the floor who makes other people around him better. He is an extremely hard worker and is a stand out defensive player. He recently won the West Coast Conference (WCC) defensive player of the year in his final year of college at Loyola Marymount University.”

I would have liked to seen Matty go to Europe, but I assume he has a sweet spot for his homeland. Good for Matty and Demo. Continue to do LMU proud!
