The official roster is out. So many unknowns with this team. It’s hard to predict who will play and who will sit. I noticed Mayoum is not included. Not surprising given his history while he was connected to the team. But too bad since he was considered such a promising prospect when he first came to campus.

Mayoum entered the portal in early March and signed with Miami-Dade Juco in June

i wondered where Mayoum went - thanks Is he the only LMU player to get two scholarship years without setting a foot on the court in a game? Kinda raises a question mark about Coach Johnson's eye for talent but he was a very early recruit.

As to other transfers from last year's roster, Gary Harris and David Elliott IV have not landed anywhere yet. (per verbal commits)

I think Siame actually played a few minutes and even tried to start a fight with the opponents small guard in the game.

Gary Harris signed with NAIA school Westcliff. Sheesh what type of “talents” have we been signing and “developing” CSJ??

I’m kinda giving Coach a pass on Harris as he came from Wyoming (I think) and had played for one of our new assistant coach from there. In other words, I’m guessing Coach Johnson relied on his new coach’s evaluation of Harris’s talent. It seems Coach has been more proactive with this latest batch of recruits and relying mainly on his own judgement.

90045 - I’ve gotta correct you on this one.
Kwame Marble is the player who transferred from Wyoming.
Gary Harris came to LMU from Siena College in New York, where he had a strong freshman year. He was an LA area prep player before going to New York. At the announcement of his commitment, Coach Stan had some high praise for Harris. In watching things unfold, it didn’t look like Harris ever got on Coach’s good side.
Meanwhile Marble seems to have assumed a role at LMU similar to the one he played at Wyoming. I suspect he will continue as a rotation player for Coach Stan.
Truthfully, Coach Stan has yet to land a true impact player. Lots of hype, but not a lot of results.
