If you’re not Duke, Kentucky or UCLA, you have to be REAL patient and win a lot of games before you’ll get any attention. Especially if you’re on the forgotten West Coast.

Gonzaga only beat a 6-6 Montana team by 10, and the Zags were playing at home.

USF lost to Univ Texas Arlington (kenpom rank 262) yesterday at home yesterday. WCC taking it's lumps. League play might be a little more wide open this year. After Zags and Gaels, just about anyone can beat anyone save Pacific who is going to struggle.

Yes, most WCC teams have lost games you would’ve thought they could win, and there’s a notable lack of big wins. Gonzaga is still class of the league but they’re vulnerable. St Mary’s has been strong but have they been on the road for anything other than tournament games? BYU’s OOC is over .500 but only because they’ve scheduled a couple chump teams. The league season should be interesting.

A lot of great points in here, which we'll need to remember on the random night when we lose to USD and can't believe our bad luck. We will probably take some bad losses, have some good wins, and end with a decent record overall.

Not much progress in today’s poll -12 votes. Meanwhile Frand Canyon is still in the top 25 Upcoming Portland game is important and they won’t be an easy win

Ok so the poll is starting to line up a little better, but I don’t get how teams like Bryant, BYU, and Seattle are getting waaaay more votes than us when they are considerably lower in NET rankings. 🤦♂️ I guess what we have done in non-conf. is not enough
I’ll even throw in there Queens, Norfolk State, Towson, & Southern Illinois….really??!!

Despite an impressive win over Portland on the road, the Lions got no respect in the new poll - zero votes! Our weak loss to Pacific cost us.

If we can’t beat Pacific, I wouldn’t vote for us either. That was a really bad loss

We finally made it into the top 25 in the mid major poll. Now let’s get into the actual men’s top 25!
We were also espn’s team of the week on their weekly power rankings
Cam also WCC player of the week.
Now if we really want to show the program is reaching new heights we don’t have that standard dash all our hopes and dreams loss to a lesser opponent…

Justice prevails! A bit strange though that one win - albeit a great win - launches us from no votes at all to #21 with 118 votes. Two other teams went from "Not Ranked (NR)" to a spot in the top 25: Belmont at #16 and Milwaukee at #20. Belmont beat Murray State and Bradley. Milwaukee beat Robert Morris and Youngstown State. Let's stay on the radar with two wins this week! Go Lions!
