Looking at the schedule, if we can manage to win 4 of the next 7 games, that would be quite an accomplishment and would pretty much assure us a spot in the top 4 in conference.

I was in the general admission section trying to get things started with a few alums, but as some of you have already said, it looks like Gen Z has no clue about what the chants and cheers are. We really need a leader that is able to get the student really going. Nowhere near where is was back in the cage/ROAR days. Makes me sick!!

Pepperdine looked like five guys playing AAU ball.
LMU has a team. Players have roles. For example, Issanza and Graham rotate every two or three minutes, going all out. Rebounding and playing defense. They both know their roles.
Ahrens and Chance, too, know their role.
Pepperdine on the other hand appeared to just have five guys who wanted to go one-on-one. And their defense was atrocious. They are giving up around 90 points a game in conference.
Kudos to Coach Stan for building a team.

I heard that Keli Leaupepe has another season left of eligibility and could return next season. Does anyone have further information either way - stay or leave. He now has 1000 points and 500 (or 499) rebounds and could extend these stats if he comes back.

Don’t think it’s much of a gen z thing, more that a lot of these kids were online for 2 years and don’t have much exposure to the team. Definitely need the cage to get revived in some way. Guys are getting it done now it’s time for the students/alumni to rebuild a more mainstream culture
