Since our 98-84 win in Gersten on Jan 14, the Torreros beat Pepperdine but lost to Portland and USF. They play Portland again on Feb 2 before hosting the Lions.
The Torreros are a WCC also ran with a 3-6 conference record but they can be dangerous - they earlier this year beat USF 80-68 on the Don's home court.
Gametime: Saturday, Feb 4, 7 pm in Jenny Craig Pavilion.

Really annoying announcer. Has to be one of the worst I've ever heard. Insane inflections in his voice when USD does something good and a complete monotone on the Lions side. |

Seems the strategy tonight was to really push the ball and wear the short-handed/defense averse USD down. Unfortunately, we have played sloppy (turnovers) and haven't played good D ourselves. The up and down pace is responsible for at least one of Shelton's fouls where he forced the action and picked up a charge. Focus in the second half has to be on D and turning the ball over less. Michael Graham has been huge.

Seems like we have forgotten how to play defense these last two games. Love the energy Graham brings on the boards, I hope lewis is okay, but we need to figure it out on defense soon or else this is going to be a brutal next few games.

A little late to ask but why did Sniper and Alex spend so much time on the bench when we badly needed offense?
Marble can’t shoot the 3 and Lewis isn’t much better outside.
Poor coaching tonite.
