The Grizzlies have been tested by a challenging early season schedule and will be a handful for the Lions. Our inside game needs to improve to compete in the consolation bracket tomorrow in the Cayman Islands.

What a sh*t start to the season.

Depth at a position is great if you can make trades to address other pieces you need, have injuries, or are playing a full court pressure/trap defense most of the game.

None of those apply to us right now, so our depth is actually a weakness. None of the guards can get into a great rhythm, and we don't have as many minutes for our defensive/rebounding guys.

Feed bad for Keli, he's really struggling to start the year.

We're giving up 75 points per game, 270th in the country and we have not even played anyone amazing yet or power conference team.

Hope they make some changes and figure things out soon. The pieces are there.

Very disappointing game to say the least.
Nice comeback late but we just cannot finish critical plays.
Johnson elevated his game today but took an ill advised shot at the end when we had that shot to win.
What looked like a strength preseason - our front line team - has been the biggest disappointment.
Harris hasn’t played like that Superman we hoped for.
Keli is really struggling.
Let’s give McBride more minutes and encourage him to shoot to get his confidence - he passed up several shots today to pass to teammates.
Coach Johnson probably went to the Cayman Islands expecting another championship. Wonder what he is thinking now?

Looking at the box score we had zero steals and zero blocks… Honestly, I don’t think I’ve ever seen that before. I’m sure it has happened, but to have zero steals and blocks is really odd and definitely makes it appear as if we were sleepwalking through the game…very disheartening.

With the time change it was an early morning game for our guys, but still no excuse.
