Noteworthy but not unprecedented. LMU was ranked well above UCLA during the Westhead glory days. In fact, there was an entire 10-year period when LMU had a better overall record and higher rankings than our friends in Westwood. Believe it or not, for a time the LMU jersey was the #1 selling college jersey in the nation. Yes, that was a long time ago but it does prove that it can happen!

IF you told me we would have a higher NET Ranking than UCLA to start the season I might have believed it - but also would have assumed that each of us would have been about 100-150 spots higher lol

I know this board is not about the PAC12 but UCLA, a 17 point underdog, actually had a 19 point lead over Arizona in the second half and proceeded to blow the game! Bet it was a long flight home.
