Is he part of the official Loyola Marymount network? Thought you had to have an active @lion.edu email account to join. Wouldn't THAT be interesting. ;D Good find lamdachi.

Looks like he is not yet a part of the official network. He just has Los Angeles, Ca for that. Under education he has Compton High '08 and Loyola Marymount '12.
Hopefully we hear some definate word soon.

For what it's worth, I talked to Edgar while he was walking to Gersten and I was coming out of Gersten about a month ago and I asked him where he's going to hoop at and he told me he's going to do one year at a prep school and then come to LMU next year.

Its sounding more and more like Garibay is a done deal for us. With all the talk of Vinson we have to give props to Edgar. He is a huge commitment for us. He will start at the 5 from day one. I watched him several times over the summer and he is excellent. ;D

This is unbelievable and a watershed moment for LMU basketball if Garibay and Vinson are truly Lions for 2009-2010.

Well, We got our Boy! Scout.com just announced that
Garibay is now a Lion. Was on Official visit with Kalinde Givens who already committed. Welcome aboard Edgar! You are about to have the best years of your life, prior to Children. 6'11 with great hand's and feet. Rated at Top prospect by Rivals, a 5.9 on 7 scale
